       As a Girl Scout, a girl grows in an environment that will nurture her creativity and intellect, providing both encouragement and resources to develop life skills and follow her dreams. She will have the opportunity to share experiences with other girls and form long-lasting friendships. She will visit exciting places, learn new things, and participate in fun activities. In addition, Girl Scouting gives a girl added support to build her self-confidence, helping her become a resourceful young woman. Just like we have for the past 100 years... Many Girl Scouts meet in traditional troops.  Others experience Girl Scouting through local ZIP Troops and independent scouting.  Our programs begin with Daisy Girl Scouts in kindergarten right through Ambassadors as 12th graders! 

Age Levels:

  • Daisy Girl Scouts                 K-grade
  • Brownie Girl Scouts            grades 2-3
  • Junior Girl Scouts                grades 4-5
  • Cadette Girl Scouts             grades 6-8
  • Senior Girl Scouts                grades 9-10
  • Ambassador Girl Scouts    grades 11-12
  • NEW ~ ZIP Troops ~ multi-age troop experience
The ONLY thing better than being a Girl Scout is being an adult leader or volunteer! 
Remember… It takes a village to run a local Girl Scout Community and we welcome all the help we can get. Without adult volunteers, nothing is possible. We constantly struggle to organize enough troops to accommodate all the girls who want to be Girl Scouts. We must have more adult volunteers in order to form more troops for the girls. 

As an Adult Volunteer you'll get the opportunity to help build our future leaders! Never did anything like this before? Don't worry... we will be there to support and train you every step of the way! There are so many opportunities to be involved... just ask us how!

We are always looking for volunteers to help us Lead and Mentor, share a career, hobbies or special skills with girls, organize special events, work at the Service Unit Level [publicity, recruitment, community partnership….] or simply be a Troop Helper.
