Ohio Eligibility Determination Instrument

The Ohio Eligibility Determination Instrument (OEDI) is a tool used to record information about an individual’s current functional abilities.

It is designed to be a user-friendly, common sense document that the rater, individual, guardian, and advocate can readily understand. 
  • The OEDI is used determine eligibility for individuals 16 years old and over
     
  • The COEDI or Children’s Ohio Eligibility Determination Instrument, determines eligibility for services for individuals 6-15 years old

This training is intended for new users who would like to be authorized to administer either instrument.
