Team captains or coaches or the person registering their team must provide all of the information requested and pay with one transaction by either credit or debit card or PayPal. No checks or cash will be accepted for this event.
This tournament is a 7 v 7 tournament WITH goalies. Teams must have at least EIGHT players on their roster, with a maximum of 12 players.
Players must be no older than 18 years of age and may have graduated from high school prior to competing in this event. Players MUST be either enrolled in high school or a college prep-school or college, if they have graduated from high school during the previous school year.
Players are responsible for their own insurance and all players under the age of 18 will provide a parental or adult legal guardian's signature on the event waiver form absolving the Maine Games from any liability for any reason as a result of their participation in this tournament. Players 18 and older must sign their own waiver form prior to playing.
Players must provide their own equipment. The Maine Games will provide tournament field hockey balls and a quality venue.
The top three teams finishing in this tournament will receive Maine Games gold, silver, or bronze medals. No other awards will be provided.
The Maine Games reserves the right to change or modify this tournament at any time without prior notice. There are no refunds given for any reason outside the control of the Maine Games, including weather, acts of God, national emergency, or failure of the registered team to attend or compete in this event.
Players or teams ejected from the Maine Games tournament will leave the premises completely, and will not be given a refund of any kind, and any awards or medals earned will be forfeited. The Maine Games and this event's organizer(s) have the final say on all matters in dispute.
Teams wishing to challenge the eligibility of a player or team in this tournament must provide the Maine Games with a $25 cash bond for every objection or protestable action. In the event that the protest is upheld, the bond will be returned immediately. Protests that are denied will be grounds for the forfeiture of the bond to the Maine Games.
The Maine Games reserves the right to make judgments on any issue not described above.
