Join us in Marie's home state of Rhode Island for the Sixth Annual Reader Weekend on June 14-5, 2019. We are back at the Crowne Plaza in Warwick, RI this year with a discounted room rate of $149/night plus tax. The Friday night Welcome Dinner, Registration Desk and Tiki Bar Store will be held at the Crowne Plaza as well as the Saturday night dinner buffet, Q&A with Marie and book signing. There will be no Sunday morning event so you can take that time to travel back home or visit Newport or Providence before heading home.
There are THREE paid events you can register for during Reader Weekend. Registrations will be processed on a first-come, first-served basis and space is limited so please register as soon as you can to ensure your spot. You may register for one or all three events.
$50 for the Welcome Dinner on Friday evening with live music, food and drinks.
$50 for the Day on Block Island including the ferry to Block Island (weather dependent) on Saturday. If we are unable to go to Block Island, we will spend the day in Newport. Price includes round trip bus and ferry tickets and 4 hours on Block Island to shop, have lunch and explore. You CANNOT do both the Block Island and Vermont Country Store trips.
$75 for a day-trip to the Vermont Country Store in Rockingham, VT on Saturday. Price includes bus transportation to VT, three hours at the store to shop and have lunch and bus trip back to the hotel. You CANNOT do both the Block Island and Vermont Country Store trips.
$50 for the Dinner, Q&A with Marie and Book Signing including food, drinks and the chance to purchase books and Gansett Island merchandise.
If you are registering multiple people, make sure to create a NEW registration record. Don't complete a duplicate registration for yourself.
Registrations must be received by May 13, 2019. Walk-in registrations the weekend of the event may not be accepted. If you have any questions about registration, please contact julie@marieforce.com.
IMPORTANT HOTEL INFORMATION
We encourage you to book your reservation at the Crowne Plaza as soon as possible. On the next page you will find hotel-related questions that will indicate to us whether we will meet our obligation to the hotel. If we are not able to meet the number of room reservations required by the hotels, the event WILL be cancelled. Go to our website for more information about the hotel and to book your reservation. Reservations at the Crowne Plaza will be available in July 2018. Attendees who register early, will be notified when the hotel is accepting reservations.
